Badri Raghavan

As Vice President at ResMed since 2020, Badri leads the Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning function, working across sleep apnea, operations, healthcare facilities, supply chain, and other areas. His mission is to leverage the latest advances in AI, including Generative AI, to create new positive experiences for ResMed’s patients and providers, improve health outcomes, and enhance process efficiencies. Badri also serves as a board member for several innovative startups in the healthcare and AI space, where he provides strategic guidance and mentorship to founders. With over 25 years of experience in applying Machine Learning and AI to solve complex and high-value business problems in various domains, Badri is a global AI leader and innovator. He has successfully led and developed global teams, formed and executed strategic initiatives, and launched and advised startups, across industries ranging from healthcare to mobility, energy efficiency, and financial technology in companies including FICO, Ola, IBM Research and Uplight. Badri holds a Bachelor’s (Honors) from St. Stephen’s College (Delhi), Masters from Indian Institute of Technology (Kanpur) and Carnegie Mellon University (Pittsburgh), and a Ph.D. in Quantum Chaos theory from Northeastern University (Boston).
