Eli Weinberg

Eli is a leader in Bain & Co’s Healthcare and Life Sciences practice, specializing in advising life science firms as well as investors and tech company initiatives in the sector. Eli is a recognized expert in translating advances in artificial intelligence into tangible improvements in the productivity of the life science innovation. This includes identifying the right applications of AI, building solutions, implementing the enabling infrastructure, and promoting behavior change around the AI solutions. Eli has held roles in academia, venture-backed biotech, consulting, and investing. He has experience in a broad set of disease areas, including oncology, mental illness, reproductive medicine, cardiovascular, and vaccines, and he has worked in markets across North America, Europe, and APAC. Eli earned his BS, MS, and PhD from MIT and completed postdoctoral studies at UC Berkeley, all in bioengineering. His academic research has been extensively published, patented, and licensed. Eli maintains a hands-on presence in the life science industry as a board advisor, senior advisor to DIA, and angel investor.
