Ryan Westerdahl

Ryan Westerdahl is Co-founder/CEO of Y-Combinator backed startup Turion Space. Turion Space is a next generation dual use space company addressing space situational awareness which addresses space sustainability and space national security at once. He just finished leading a $15M Series A raise and is now back hard at building capability for NASA, the US Space Force and commercial customers. At Turion Space Ryan leads the team of engineers who are building spacecraft to deorbit space debris and service existing satellites. Prior to founding Turion Space Ryan comes from an 8.5 year run at SpaceX where he worked as a propulsion dynamicist working on various aspects of propulsion development, vehicle analysis, anomaly resolution, and military and crew certification
