Thomas Riedl

Thomas Riedl joined Viasat, one of the world’s leading satellite operators, as their new Chief Product Officer in Q1 of this year. In his new role, Thomas is driving innovation across their portfolio of hardware and software products, with a strong focus on growing and building new services on top of their global infrastructure. As a product leader who has spent his career making computing affordable for everyone, Thomas found a perfect fit in Viasat’s mission to bring connectivity to the world. He most recently held leadership positions at Google in Android, Google Hardware, and ChromeOS. Under his leadership, the ChromeOS team turned around its enterprise business and became the largest education device platform globally.
